The Portable Document Format is a file format developed in the 1990s to present documents, including text formatting and images, in a manner independent of application software, hardware, and operating systems. Centralpoint has the capability of converting any Word, or HTML to a PDF output (for document creation). Centralpoint also can schedule imports of PDFs, including the ability to map all data regarding each PDF, convert it to HTML (upon import) and even automatically apply metadata based upon the content of each PDF imported (based on our ability to scan).
