Centralpoint supports editing of metadata such as publication date, expiration date, titles and description.
Yes, Centralpoint supports metadata, including 'N-Tiered' metadata (what we call 'Taxonomy') this allows you to tag a record with multiple terms (sometimes disparate terms), so that each record has greater 'Classification' (Example: One record may be tagged to certain government Codes (x,y and z), but may also be tagged to industry (Construction), or to Saftey Type (Hardhat). The more tagging the better the search results, and/or cross references to other records (while accessing 'that' record). NOTE: Taxonomy or metadata may be automatically inherited or 'INGESTED' into Centralpoint during our Data Transfer and Migration. This tool has the ability to pull in your records, AND the metadata associated with your records. ADDTIONAL NOTE: Sometimes (old metadata) needs revisiting (to make it more modern), for those records who need 'metadata upgrades' it is easy to do in Centralpoint, because after your data is ingested by data transfer, we then have tools which will managed the Data Scrubbing (or ability to rename, change, alter append) with new metadata or taxonomy, should you need to.
